Transforming Rural Lives Through Christ's Love

Nambu-Shalom Rural Ministry brings hope, love, and sustainable change to farming communities across Nigeria and West Africa. Inspired by John 10:10, we share the gospel in its fullness—addressing spiritual, educational, and economic needs.

Our Story

During doctoral research at Yonsei University in South Korea, our founder visited rural farming communities and felt a profound calling. Inspired by experiences in Japan and the Philippines, a vision emerged to bring hope and transformation to rural Nigeria and West Africa. This vision became reality on January 1, 2007, when operations at the Nambu-Shalom Mission Centre began in Oje-Owode, Saki East Local Government area of Oyo State.

Our Mission

Nambu-Shalom brings Christ's love to rural communities through a holistic approach. We plant churches in unreached villages, educate children through Shalom Kiddies College, train farmers in sustainable agriculture, empower women and youth through vocational programs, and prepare missionaries at our Institute of Mission Studies. Our ministry addresses spiritual growth, education, and economic empowerment—transforming lives across Nigeria, Togo, and Benin Republic.

Our Impact

Since 2007, we've planted churches in over 50 villages, provided clean water through well projects, built school facilities, and trained hundreds of farmers and church leaders. Our mission center houses administrative offices, a 150-seat chapel, Shalom Kiddies College, experimental farms, and the Institute of Mission Studies. Presently, about 15 staff members serve on full-time and volunteer bases, carrying forward this vision of holistic rural transformation.
